Wazobia itself is an amalgam of the word "come" in each of Nigeria's 3 main languages [Yoruba (wa), Hausa (zo), and Igbo (bia)], and Nigeria is where my family is from. Founder Nina wanted to create a home decor brand that represents the rich culture of not only West Africa, but the continent and the diaspora as well, and create a sense of comfort and rest through handcrafted textiles that are cozy and welcoming.
