Event Recap - Fanm Djanm's 8th Birthday Celebration
By Rachel Leeke
Time flies when you're having fun. It's been just over a month since our birthday, and we still have a lot to celebrate. First, we debuted our Spring Flowers & Open Skies lookbook, featuring bold headwraps and dramatic earrings you've come to expect from us. In addition to launching Woz, a sparkly pink number in a headwrap and twisted headband.Woz was central to our 8th Birthday Celebration, as the rose color captured the sentiment of the evening while the sparkles mirrored the champagne that flowed.
In numerology, the number eight represents openness for things to come. It also signifies compassion, freedom, and self-reliance. These are all things Fanm Djanm has set out to embody within our incredible community of doers and disruptors from the beginning.
Guests were encouraged to "do the most" in terms of the dress code. They did not disappoint. And their outfits featured some of our favorite accessories, including Zetwal, Kara, and Tango, in addition to a few soon-to-be-released.
This evening would not have been possible without the support of our host Canje ATX, an incredible flower installation by The Flower Note, our delicious birthday cake from Sweet Niz Cake Shop, candles from Blow Candle Co. and all of your support and encouragement along the way.
