Fanm Djanm, which means “strong woman” in Haitian Kreyol, was founded in 2014 as a collection of eight headwraps, which Paola Mathé sold directly from her apartment on weekends. Today, Fanm Djanm has transformed into a headwrap collection and lifestyle brand that creates sustainably, focuses on community and serves to both empower and inspire women to live boldly.Keeping those guiding values to the forefront - sustainability, community, and empowered inspiration - we are proudly zero-waste, choosing to create high-quality, handcrafted accessories which elevate your wardrobe and call your closet home. Since relocating to Austin, Texas our team has grown into an energetic unit of five. We laugh, we dream, we think and we create. SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
Who You Are
Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
The ability to maintain the brand's voice
3+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar experience (internship or full-time)
Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and social media best practices
Ability to build an online community and monitor brand mentions, FAQs, and create social connections.
Good understanding of social media KPIs
Familiarity with graphic design and publishing (Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign)
Excellent team player with multitasking, communication, and time-management skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Should be a self-starter and have a keen ability to work on multiple projects with multiple cross-functional partners and teams
Must be consumer-obsessed, eager to engage with our audience daily with a fundamental interest in community and trends
Must be organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through
Should demonstrate a passion for the fashion industry
Experience working at innovative, fast-paced startups or an indie brand is a plus
Team player, self-motivated, and always proactive versus reactive

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create and schedule posts on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and Facebook.
- Pitch and develop captivating, fun, and inventive content for social.
- Create social media content at live events and productions
- Research new trends in social media and propose innovative campaigns
- Developing, implementing, and managing our social media calendar & strategy
- Creating, editing, and sharing engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Staying up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Writing excellent copy for social posts to communicate our brand to followers while responding to queries and customer reviews promptly
- Attending external events as needed
- Defining social media KPIs and measuring the success of each social media campaign & account
- Communicating with influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Social Media Ad Campaigns
- Driving to each location for content
- Manage all brand social channels including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and Twitter
- Works closely with the Creative Director to collaborate on needs for Instagram account including writing captions, posting to stories, community management, asset development, and partnership content
- Work closely with the Creative team on planning daily/weekly/monthly social content calendars across brand social channels
- Works closely with the Creative team to create unique Instagram Content
- Proactively and reactively responds to customer inquiries on social platforms to ensure client requests are received and executed in a timely manner and following our guidelines
- Build out TikTok, and YouTube strategy for the brand in close partnership with the Executive team
- Develop best-in-class processes and systems for customer responses
- Partners with the team to identify and cultivate brand ambassadors, expand a community of advocates, and influencer outreach
- Monitors global news and current events and how they relate to and affect brand social channels and content
- Working with social insights tools to keep a close eye on content, constantly aware of what is performing (or what is not), and continuing to optimize
- Create Monthly recap reports to be shared with the Executive team regarding overall social performance
- Work closely with the team to measure the success of influencer partnership
